Got Quality Engineering experience? Want to work for a company that provides engineering solutions in electric powertrains and have a background in high-performance engineering? This client are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to provide Quality Engineering support to the company's Quality, Production and Engineering functions whilst also being part of the customer interface.
Responsibilities:
* Ownership of internal quality issues and resolution with known Quality tools, in a timely fashion
* Data collection, collation, and development of improvement activities
* Definition of inspection criteria
* Lineside quality improvement activities such as defect disposition analysis, scrap and rework analysis, as well as general improvement projects
* Data driven improvement activities in response to internal quality gate findings including conducting root cause analysis, countermeasure implementation and auditing
Experience Required:
* Experience in aluminium CNC machining
* Working knowledge of GD&T
* Basic knowledge of Aluminium casting processes
* Demonstrated experience in automotive PPAPs / APQP
* Experience of using Quality tools (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
* Experience of manufacturing metrology equipment including CMMs
