Quality Engineer - Portsmouth - Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits - Permanent
Primary purpose:
Upholding product quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction the Quality Engineer will review material certifications, conduct inspections, and analyse data to identify and address recurring issues. You will also play a key role in resolving quality-related concerns, supporting customer complaints investigations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing material certification against specifications and conducting non-destructive examination and testing.
Surveying seal assemblies throughout manufacturing processes and before packing.
Producing comprehensive reports, including Factory Acceptance Tests and dimensional reporting, to meet customer contracts.
Analysing data to identify recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Participating in both internal and external quality issue resolution.
Supporting customer complaint and warranty investigations, as well as internal Non-Conformance Report (NCR) investigations.
Conducting internal audits and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Assisting in product and project delivery quality planning activities.
Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory Health & Safety requirements at the local level.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in ISO 9001 and experience in conducting audits.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal communication, technical writing, and process improvement abilities.
Familiarity with highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools and methodologies, such as root cause analysis, 8D, and FMEA.
