Description:

Currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be tasked with handling customer complaints, using automotive quality analysis techniques (8D, Root Cause, CAPA) and improving an established ISO9001 accredited quality management system. On top of the basic salary there are great company benefits (healthcare, pension and generous company-wide bonus).

Quality Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

*Providing development support to suppliers when required
*Handle customer complaints and investigate using root cause analysis and CAPA
*Maintenance and development of the corrective action systems (NCR and Audit)
*Day to day involvement with ISO9001 accredited quality management system

Quality Engineer Skills & Experience

*Minimum of ONC/OND with over 5 years industry experience in a quality management role
*Experienced with audits, lead auditor training would be beneficial
*Knowledge of ISO9001 required. Knowledge of ISO14001 / ISO18001 advantageous
*Practical experience of co-ordinating and initiating improvement activities with 8D / root cause analysis
