Quality Engineer
£40,000 - £50,000
Our client is part of a prestigious global engineering group and are considered as the market leader in the design, development and manufacture of precision machined components for the automotive industry. They are very established with a significant customer base and have grown year on year for the last 20 years, with some significant orders ahead for 2022.

Job Purpose: To work alongside the Quality Manager on process improvement, supplier development and the day to day quality infastructure of the business. Excellent opportunity to progress quickly.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Root Cause Analysis and implementing Corrective actions.
Quality Management System (ISO9001 and ISO14001, IATF16949)
Data Analysis and Reporting (Good IT skills, especially Excel, Ability to create Reports and PowerPoint presentations)
New Product Introduction (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, PSW, etc.)
Leadership of an inspection team
Prioritising inspection tasks to support production requirements
Internal and External Process Audits
Customer Management
External Audit Compliance and DocumentationPerson Requirement:
Good Technical Education to HNC/HND/Degree level complemented by a good practical skill base.
excellent knowledge of machined components and machining processes.
Experience working with ISO/TS16949 or IATF1694.
Good Practical Engineering skills and approach
