Contract: 6 - 12 Months
Brief
Quality Engineer needed on contract to join an established defence firm in the Reading area.
*Candidates will need either Current DV Clearance, or sole UK nationality to be eligible to obtain. *
What the role of the Quality Engineer entails:
Some of the main duties of the Quality Engineer will include:
Conducting the Review, Learn and Improve by reviewing the historical data and conducting the critical assessment of any deviations to inform the design of products
Historical data will include electronic and hard copy files
Delivering SMART recommendations on refinement of the design process.What experience you need to be the successful Quality Engineer:
Mechanical Engineering background is essential
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools and techniques
Previous experience within a Quality Engineering environment
Knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems requirements
