As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction for an installation business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Conduct inspections and audits to identify any quality issues or deviations from specifications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions
* Monitor and analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of materials and components used in window installations
* Develop and maintain quality documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality records
* Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards and processes
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within the installation industry or a similar field
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems and tools
