A Quality Engineer opportunity has become available within an established manufacturing business operating across highly regulated engineering sectors. The company is seeking a customer-focused Quality Engineer to support new product introduction, project quality and the resolution of internal, supplier and customer quality concerns.

Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

Support new product introduction and existing projects through APQP and PPAP activities.
Provide quality engineering input during project meetings, working closely with Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing.
Manage customer quality concerns, warranty claims, concessions, and product returns through to resolution.
Lead structured 8D investigations, including root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions.
Complete internal system, process, and product audits, maintaining supporting documentation and closing associated actions.
Maintain Control Plans, ISIRs, quality KPIs and IMDS submissions in line with customer requirements.Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -

Previous Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of the Core Tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and PPAP.
Able to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements.
Confident communicating with customers and representing a business during meetings.Quality Engineer benefits include -
