This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
Investigate quality issues using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys and Root Cause Analysis.
Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Conduct internal process and product audits.
Work closely with production, engineering, suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related issues.
Analyse quality performance data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
About You
Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Previous experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
Experience with quality tools including 8D, FMEA, SPC and Root Cause Analysis.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Desirable
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
Supplier Quality experience.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP or CMM inspection.
Experience within heavy engineering, fabrication or precision manufacturing.What's on Offer
