Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer based in Petersfield, who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Quality Engineer will have experience of measurement using faro arm equipment.

Responsibilities for Quality Engineer:
* Ensuring smooth introduction of new projects & design / process changes.
* Developing and implementing quality standards and work instructions.
* Improving business performance.
* Reducing cost of non-conformance.
* Preparing capital expenditure requests when required.
* Ensuring product is conforming at NPI by means of measurement using faro arm equipment.
* Compilation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documentation.
* Interpretation of engineering drawing and CAD models to programme the faro arm in order to measure products to produce ISIR reports.
* Maintain Quality/Environmental (Integrated) management system.
* Ensure Quality and Environmental management site legal compliance.
* Compile IMDS information and updating MDS as and when required.
* Actively participate in PFMEA meetings and subsequent reviews.
* Creation of procedures and other supporting documents controlled to IMS.
* Complete monthly statistical analysis for Quality and Environmental Objectives and Target KPI’s
* Evaluate dimensional and visual assessment of components and identify areas of concern.
* Identify concerns and liaise with relevant internal and customer contacts until concerns are fully resolved using 8D and the appropriate problem-solving tools.
* Conduct drawing and specification reviews as part of feasibility studies.
* Drive quality improvement throughout the business, using 5 Why, FMEA, CAPA and Ishikawa.
* Creation of SOPs for process activities
* Gauge concept design.
* Support QHSE Manager with any external customer or third-party audits.
* Support close out of NC’s and other findings from internal/external audits.
* Conduct Internal Audits covering both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
* Completion of internal HS&E walkthrough Inspections (with QHSE Committee members support)
