As a Quality Engineer, you will create PPAPs for customers and review supplier PPAPs. You will help backfill customer approval data, annual layout/functional testing, and requalification of existing products and new projects.

In your first few weeks in this Quality Engineer role, you can expect to:

Deal with customers for approval, issues, concerns, and problem-solving techniques, etc
Deal with material concerns with suppliers and defective material disposition
Assist in backfilling customer approval data, annual layout/functional testing, re qualification's of existing products and new projects.
To apply for this Quality Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

Qualifications for internal auditing
ISO9001:2015, or VDA 6.3 audit qualified.
Problem-solving techniques, 8D, 5 Why’s 
Read and understand drawings, CAD, and GD&T
Faro arm for measurement (Not essential)
APQP / PPAP/ FMEA / Control Plans / MSA / SPC core tool requirements
