Support the Quality Manager, including hosting 3rd party and customer audits and reviews.
Assist in maintaining the Company Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
Conduct internal audits as per the schedule and promptly produce reports.
Follow up with internal departments regarding Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised from external/internal sources, supporting departments as required using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools.
Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and appraisals.
Support the Mechanical Inspector with inspection of machined and/or fabricated parts.
Control the release of technical documents.
Manage the quarantine area, ensuring parts are actioned within a suitable timeframe by the relevant departments.
Manage the workshop audit schedule with auditors and ensure findings are communicated to relevant managers and recorded.
Draft Quality Plans and Method Statements as required.Professional Experience, Education & Specific Skills:
Degree/HNC level education in Mechanical Engineering.
Engineering/technical background.
Experience with quality systems in a safety-critical engineering environment.
ISO9001:2015 Internal or Lead Auditor certified.
Conversant in both metric and imperial units of measure.
Fully conversant with instruments such as Micrometers, Callipers, Height Gauges, and CMMs (Inspect 3D).
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am to 16:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 15:30pm (36.5-hour working week)Benefits:
