The Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join their team. This role supports the delivery of top-tier food safety and quality standards throughout their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out QC checks on fresh produce
Ensuring food safety and quality compliance within the work area
Supporting internal auditing and hygiene inspection programmes
Maintaining accurate process records
Identifying and reporting quality or food safety concerns
Assisting with waste management and reporting
Performing other duties as required by the line manager
Person Specification:
Demonstrates a strong commitment to food safety, quality, and health & safety
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Previous experience in a quality/technical role within fresh produce is desirable
Flexible approach to working hours, particularly during seasonal peaks
Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
Professional, team-oriented attitude with a high standard of compliance
