Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary:

The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet quality standards and customer requirements. They play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services by conducting inspections throughout the production process. The QC Inspector works closely with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, production personnel, and suppliers to identify quality issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform regular inspections on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This may involve visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and other specialized inspections as required.

* Perform regular inspections on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.

* Reading blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies

* Document inspection results and any non-conformities identified during inspections.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Experience in Precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, dial indicator comparators and pin gages.

* Ability to use surface roughness tester

* Ability to work read drawings.

* Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS

* CMM experience

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or degrees related to quality assurance or inspection are beneficial.

* Previous experience in quality control or inspection roles is typically required. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality management systems is highly desirable.

* Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment for inspections. Familiarity with relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.

* Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify deviations from quality standards. Thoroughness in conducting inspections and documenting findings accurately
