Description:

Johnson Analytica is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control & Production Technician to support the manufacture and verification of laboratory standards and colour reference charts. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality requirements before release and despatch.

This position requires excellent colour recognition skills, strong attention to detail, and confidence using computer-based systems to create and manage specifications and production records.

Key Responsibilities

* Use laboratory standards and colour reference charts in accordance with approved procedures and customer specifications.

* Create and maintain product specifications and production documentation.

* Review customer orders and verify requirements against approved specifications.

* Perform visual colour assessments and ensure colour charts meet established standards.

* Conduct routine and intermittent quality control checks throughout the production process.

* Record production and quality data accurately using company computer systems.

* Identify and report any non-conformances or quality issues.

* Approve finished products for despatch once all quality requirements have been met.

* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company procedures.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work environment.

Skills & Experience

Essential

* Excellent colour recognition and colour differentiation ability.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Good computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

* Ability to follow written procedures and specifications.

* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

* Previous experience in quality control, production, laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environments.

* Experience creating or working with specifications and quality documentation.

* Knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance processes.
