Quality Control Dispatch Assistant

Description:

Our client, a well established and leader in its' field are looking for a Quality Control Dispatch Assistant to join their team. 

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control

Carry out final inspection checks on completed products against approved samples and customer drawings.
Identify and report any non-conforming items to their supervisor.
Ensure defective products are quarantined until corrective actions have been completed.
Inspect imported goods from Far East suppliers against approved specifications and samples.
Complete inspection documentation to support our ISO 9001 quality management system. Dispatch & Logistics

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment.
Use DespatchLab software to arrange and manage customer deliveries.
Produce shipping labels and ensure all dispatch documentation is completed correctly.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and presentation when preparing goods for customers. Stock Control
Receive incoming goods and book them into stock.
Label products and complete all associated documentation. About You The ideal candidate will:

Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Be organised and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Possess basic IT skills and be comfortable using computer-based systems such as Microsoft 365.
Have good communication skills and the confidence to report quality concerns.
Be reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience in quality control, warehousing, dispatch, or manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided
