Location: Wisbech

An experienced Quality Consultant is required to support a food manufacturing business in Wisbech through a period of quality system improvement and change.
This is a hands-on role for a solutions-focused professional who can assess existing processes, identify gaps, and implement robust quality systems that meet customer and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review and improve quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
Update and rewrite SOPs alongside shop floor teams.
Improve traceability and audit readiness across the site.
Liaise with customers to understand and meet quality requirements.
Support and guide the Quality Manager and wider team.
Drive practical improvements and resolve compliance issues.
About You
Proven quality leadership experience within food manufacturing or packaging.
Packaging industry experience would be highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of audits, traceability, and quality systems.
Confident communicator who can work effectively from shop floor to senior leadership level.
Proactive, decisive, and able to deliver lasting improvements.
