About the Role:

Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality and continuous improvement? has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Conformance Engineer to join our Quality Development Programmes & Major Projects team in Broughton. This role is perfect for individuals looking to develop their expertise in Project Management, APQP application, Quality standards, Industrial System Development, and Operational Quality Management.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Conformance Engineer, you will:

Lead and drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects.
Set measurement standards and identify/facilitate improvements to enhance:
Process performance and product adherence to standards
Reliability and repeatability of processes
Prevention, Surveillance, Inspection, Solving, and AdherenceMissions:

Ensure full quality industrialization of Major Mods, STEP Mods, Incremental Developments, Full Developments, and Major Industrial Transfers for seamless serial manufacture and rate ramp-up.
Prioritize Production Organisation Approvals (POA) to maintain a high level of Product Safety.
Provide quality input into all reviews including risk, multi-function, planning, and stakeholder reviews.Tasks & Accountabilities:

Apply and deploy APQP and Quality Standards.
Support and facilitate Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) in Design, Process, and Machine.
Create and update Control Plans (CPs) to incorporate required modifications.
Plan and execute Production Process Verification (PPV) to validate all routings.
Lead Cost of Non-Quality forecasting and support mitigation activities.
Provide lineside support for local test campaigns and Head of Version (HoV) manufacturing during Start of Production (SoP) phases.
Support Key Characteristic (KC) and Critical Item (CTI) cascade from Design and Manufacturing Engineering functions.
Support APQP activities, including Decision Tree's (DT), Applicability Matrix (AM), and Key Business Deliverable (KBD) assessments as both deliverable owner and assessor.Who We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management and project leadership, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement. Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus but not essential.
