Job Title: Quality Auditor

Location: Tewkesbury

Contract type: 12-month FTC

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Auditor to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury. Our client design and manufacture complex mechanical products with the customer satisfaction a priority.

Role Responsibilities – Quality Auditor

- Plan and perform audits in accordance with the OSV Process as a means to determine process effectiveness; operator and technician competency; and the ability of the operator to produce conforming parts to gain maintain authority to inspect their own work.
- Sample inspect parts during audits using inspection techniques and layouts of varying complexity
-  Provide assistance for all engineering disciplines to support improvement and investigative activities.
-  Report issues and improvement opportunities to responsible Engineers and Management
-  Proficiency in the use and understanding of measuring and test equipment.

The Successful Quality Auditor will possess the following:

- Production, assembly and manufacturing auditing experience
- Experience of working within AS9100/ISO 9001 environments
- Previous experience of working with complex products and to tightened tolerances
- An analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and processes and procedures
- Be apprentice trained in a quality focused manufacturing environment.
- Engineering / Manufacturing NVQ level III Qualifications are desirable
