Are you a risk and control expert with a keen eye for detail?
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Key Control Testing Advisor to join their team based in central Manchester (hybrid, 2 days per week in office).
In this critical role, you will:
" Leverage your expertise to conduct key control testing, evaluating and mitigating risks across the bank`s operations.
" Function as the first line of defense, ensuring the effectiveness of critical controls in safeguarding the bank`s financial well-being.
" Foster strong partnerships with Risk and Control Owners, collaborating to develop and implement optimal control strategies.
" Provide clear, concise, and actionable reports on control deficiencies and potential risks to senior leadership.
" Thrive in a collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and knowledge sharing.
To be successful, you will possess:
" Proven experience in risk and control testing or quality assurance within a financial services setting.
" In-depth understanding of relevant financial regulations (MCOB, CONC, CCA).
" Superior organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
" A meticulous approach with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional accuracy.
" A demonstrable passion for compliance, robust controls, and continuous improvement processes.
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver clear and constructive feedback.
