Quality Controller
£26,500 per annum depending on experience
Full time on site, 4 on 4 off Twilight shifts 6am to 6pm days and nights
Responsibilities:
Record and advise on chemistry and microbiology testing results
Product grading
Raw material grading
Responding to customer complaints
Managing vendor complaints
Handling and investigating CAPAs
Tracking bypass rates
Writing and tracking quality concessions
Environmental clean sign off
Trending results over time and reporting to the Quality Manager
Complying with safety and hygiene procedures including but not limited to: adopting safe working practices, wearing the required protective clothing and use of safety equipment appropriate to the role.Person Specification:
A passion for the food industry
Keen to learn, hardworking and committed to gaining experience in a food manufacturing environment
Prepared to work flexible shift patterns
Either located close to Kendal/Burnside or happy to relocate
