Description:
Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist, to be responsible for quality of food products. You will also drive a culture of Quality Assurance across all departments and implement processes improvement as well as compliance within the department.
Main responsibilities:
* Product Tests and Assessment on food products received
* Meet KPI’s
* Supplier liaison & root cause analysis
* Checking of weight of products again specifications & weight checking of meals prepared
* Responsible for internal auditing of food product safety and quality matters
* Checking food safety documentation records
* Monthly ATP Testing & facilitating the internal & external audits
* Working with the production team
Experience required:
* Previous experience of Quality control preferably in a catering environment
* Previous experience of efficiently managing, motivating, and developing a team is essential
* Ability to work in a team
* Able to work extra hours when required
* Able to prioritise and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines
* Ability to work under pressure
