An Oxfordshire-based ‘Free From’ Food Manufacturer is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the overall quality standards of the company and its products, whilst working towards gaining BRCGS accreditation. Along with a salary of circa £45,000 per annum, you will also receive a performance-related bonus, pension scheme, potential for hybrid working (1 day from home per week), personal development and training opportunities.
As Quality Assurance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Adhering to quality systems, legality and governance
Ensuring finished products are manufactured to customer standards
Managing audits
Maintaining & reporting on technical due diligence and business technical integrity
Leading the HACCP Team
Maintaining the Non-Conformance (NC) log
Updating product specifications
Organising Shelf life and Allergenic monitoring/testing
Maintaining organoleptic assessments
Conducting Risk assessment for new suppliers and maintaining existing supplier records
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Manager with the following skills and experience:
A Degree (or equivalent) in a food related area of study
Experience as a Quality Manager at a Food Manufacturing site
Responsibility to maintain BRCGS accreditation for the site
HACCP Level 3, plus experience as a HACCP team leader
You will be working Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00, reporting to the Managing Director
