Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing in the Aerospace sector, is seeking a Senior & a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Pickering. The successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:

Understanding and addressing quality and project needs, identifying, and managing risks.
Overseeing product completion to ensure customer requirements are met.
Providing expert quality advice throughout the product life cycle.
Identifying causes of quality issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues promptly.
Ensuring suppliers and subcontractors meet approved specifications and quality standards.
Reviewing and accept Supplier Quality Plans to meet contractual conditions.
Supporting the evaluation of potential suppliers’ capabilities.
Compiling and maintaining the Product Quality Assurance Plan.
Reviewing contract amendments for quality impacts.
Supporting customer audits and product acceptance activities.
Conducting independent audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. 

The successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be/have:

Solutions-driven with a high level of accuracy under strict deadlines.
Ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
Ability to work in a dynamic and varied setting.
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Problem-solving and QA issue investigation
Lean Manufacturing
ISO9001 and ISO14001 knowledge
Health and Safety practices
BS in Management, Engineering, or relevant Quality Management/Six Sigma qualification
Lead auditor qualification.
