We are seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Technician to join our clients dedicated team on a fixed term contract for one year, possibly leading to a permanent opportunity. You will report directly to the QHSE Manager and support quality assurance across all departments, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits and maintain quality documentation.
Monitor quality on the shop floor and in the goods-in area.
Ensure products meet required quality standards.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., KAIZEN) and resolve issues using 8D, 5 WHY, ISHIKAWA, and PPAP.
Oversee suppliers' quality plans and conduct supplier audits.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve products and processes.
Manage skill matrices, training records, PPAP, and concessions.
Support the QHSE Manager in investigating and closing quality complaints.
Qualifications and Experience:

You will have worked in a similar role within a manufacturing environment with a strong attention to detail
Continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Internal auditor experience ideally with certification
Can multitask and be self-motivated
Must have excellent communication skills
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite
CMM certification experience is an advantage
