We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Business Partner to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a remote role that will require regular travel.The purpose of the role is to lead on the continual improvement and maintenance of the integrated Management System (IMS), assuring its currency to allow the business to discharge its responsibilities effectively and systematically in a compliant manner and specifically relating pertinent legislation and subscribed standards.

The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

You will be responsible for:

Be the subject matter expert (SME) and own the delivery of the assurance strategy and business process re-engineering/ improvements.
Acting as the focal relationship holder with our third-party partner on behalf of the business
Manage the ongoing governance of Health, Safety and Assurance whilst working closely with our ESG team to ensure alignment and continued integration of the ISO14001 governance arrangements.
Manage other external relationships as the business requires and be a thought leader in the quality and assurance field
Develop, maintain and support the delivery of the IMS with a focus on ‘Right First Time’ principles
Establish effective networks with the key Group and BU level stakeholders, particularly assurance specialists.
Be the BSI relationship owner, ensuring oversight of and support to each operating business for third party assurance planning and activities.
Monitor and challenge overdue actions to ensure timely closure through engagement with each operational unit assurance lead and other stakeholders as appropriate.
Carry out regular engagement with employees to understand risks through active engagement across the business.
Understand the Risk Profile of the wider business and contribute to mitigating risk, through lean methodology and application of these principles.
Effectively communicate across the business where necessary on any significant changes or updates to standards which may affect Business Unit level Integrated Management Systems.
Review and advise on the currency of Group level policies & minimum standards. Profile:

We want to hear from you if you have:

Chartered Member of the Chartered Quality Institute or moving towards.
Degree level qualified in a quality/ assurance pertinent subject
Lean practitioner (Six sigma)
Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
High level of detail orientated
Excellent communication and listening skills
Strong IT skills with experience in SharePoint and Power BI
Experience in assisting senior management teams/ leaders of the to formulate effective compliance and improvement plans aligned to the overall business strategic objectives and those of our customers.
First class commercial awareness, focused, business-minded partner for total quality management, system improvement and business re-engineering lean methodology.
The ability to demonstrate added value in all business dealings with the ability to build positive relationships to get the job done.
Has contributed to driving sustainable culture change through the short and long-term planning of quality strategy and delivery and resources
