Our client operates all throughout London and the Southeast of England as a Contractor providing Construction, refurbishments, and Regeneration services for all sectors, including Healthcare, Education, and Commercial.

The Role:

To ensure the company’s health, safety, environment and quality management systems are being properly implemented, and support the continuous improvement of those systems to maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards. This role provides quality assurance expertise within the wider SHEQ team.

Essentials Skills & Qualities:

* Holds relevant qualifications in quality management, such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or equivalent professional qualifications.

* In depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems, with experience in quality assurance auditing

* Understanding of health and safety, environment and sustainability requirements for construction projects

* Good technical construction knowledge

* Confident in leading meetings and audits

* Personable and pragmatic approach to advising on SHEQ matters in a construction or similarly complex environment

* Analytical thinker and able to understand complex requirements

* Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people of all levels from operative to Director

* Able to influence and intervene to resolve problems promptly to avoid unnecessary escalation

* Customer focused, with the ability to build strong lasting relationships with clients and teams

* Proficient at managing time and conflicting priorities

* Well organised with a disciplined approach to work and proficient at managing time and conflicting priorities

* Adept at using Information Technology including proficiency in data collection, recording, and reporting
