Description:
A small, friendly but busy family run precision engineering company based in Basildon are looking to recruit a Quality and Logistics Operative. The ideal candidate will have experience of the day-to-day inspection/logistics duties, have excellent attention to detail and be physically fit. Duties:
Liaising with the works manager & inspection team when products are ready for dispatch.
Visual inspection of parts throughout all stages of manufacture, making sure associated paperwork & records are correct.
Creation of quality documentation for customers.
Creation of orders for suppliers.
Responsibility of stock levels for packing & shipping.
Arranging the shipping of parts via couriers.
Keeping internal databases/records up to date.
Stock management.
Responsibility in upholding our ISO & AS9100 accreditation.
Skills & Experience:
Attention to detail is essential in this physically hands on role, the successful candidate should be conscientious & hyper-vigilant with the products they are handling.
A basic understanding of Word & Excel is required.
Previous experience of quality inspection would be ideal
Experience of working to AS9100 would be an asset
Benefits:
8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 1pm on Friday
