Description:
Belmont Recruitment are working with Milton Keynes Council to recruit for a Children’s Quality and Compliance Officer. This is a 3 to 6 month contract with the view to extend.
In this role you will:
* Undertake quality assurance reviews of children’s services commissioned to make sure best value for money is delivered and to ensure the strategic local population needs are met.
* Monitor and analyse the quality and performance of children’s service providers.
* Recommend and manage corrective action and service improvements.
* Develop and manage consultation arrangements with service users, family carers, children’s service providers and other relevant.
* stakeholders to ensure individual and population level outcomes are met.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, guidance, and directives, to identify areas of good practice to develop within providers / contracts.
* Promote the city council’s commitment to safeguarding and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults at a level proportionate to the role.
* Manage difficult conversations and ensure there is resolution.
Location: Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ (only 1 day in the office)
Hourly rate: up to £21.00
