Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: Marden, Kent
Salary: £65k £70k DOE per annum
Hours: Full time, permanent 39 hours per week (Mon to Fri (8.5 x 4 5 x 1))
Lead Quality. Drive Continuous Improvement.
We're looking for an experienced Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead quality standards and drive operational excellence within a busy manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business-wide improvements, champion Lean methodologies and ensure products and processes meet the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the Quality Management System (ISO9001) and manage internal quality audits.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and operational change projects.
Manage quality performance across production and the supply chain.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, DMAIC and A3.
Monitor KPIs, analyse data and provide quality updates to senior management.
Work closely with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to deliver operational improvements.
What We're Looking For
HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline.
5+ years' manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in a quality leadership role.
Strong knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, VSM, APQP and Continuous Improvement.
Lead Auditor qualification and strong problem-solving skills.
Six Sigma (Black Belt) and Chartered Quality Professional status are advantageous.
