???? The Role - What Will You Be Doing?
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
* Providing one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils reach their full potential.
* Assisting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
* Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining classroom routines.
* Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom activities.
* Working collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to ensure every child receives the support they need.
✅ What We're Looking For
* A relevant, recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Previous experience working in UK schools.
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A patient, proactive and adaptable approach.
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, subject to the role's requirements.
