Are you a Qualified Social Worker with experience supporting children and families, looking for your next locum opportunity in London?
3D Recruit is recruiting for a Qualified Children's Social Worker to work within local authority Children's Services. Offering £36–£38 per hour and an ASAP start, this temporary role is suited to an experienced practitioner committed to safeguarding children and improving outcomes for families.
The Role
You will manage a children and families caseload, assess needs and risks, and work collaboratively to ensure children receive appropriate protection and support. Specific duties will reflect the allocated team and caseload.
Your responsibilities may include:

Completing child and family assessments and identifying support needs
*
Recognising safeguarding concerns and responding promptly to risks
*
Developing and reviewing child-centred plans with clear actions and outcomes
*
Building effective relationships with children, young people, parents and carers
*
Ensuring the child's voice and lived experience inform assessments and decisions
*
Working with schools, health professionals, police and other partner agencies
*
Contributing to multi-agency meetings, reviews and safeguarding discussions
*
Maintaining accurate case records and preparing clear professional reports
*
Delivering statutory social work responsibilities in line with children's legislation and local authority procedures
What We're Looking For
*
Social Work degree or equivalent qualification
*
Current Social Work England (SWE) registration
*
Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience
*
Strong knowledge of UK children's social care legislation and practice
*
Experience managing complex children's social care cases
*
Right to work in the UK
