Are you a skilled and compassionate Qualified Social Worker with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families? Our client, Kent County Council, is looking for dedicated professionals to join their Children's Social Work Team. Purpose of the Job: As a Qualified Social Worker within the Children's Social Work Team, you will manage a diverse caseload involving various levels of complexity. Your role will encompass the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of appropriate actions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and their families. You will contribute to the effective application of resources, ensuring that the needs and well-being of children are at the forefront of your work. The successful candidate will work in line with the Social Care Capability Framework (SCCF).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of children and families with varying levels of complexity

Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and risks within families

Develop and implement comprehensive care plans

Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as necessary

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and families

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records

Advocate for the rights and best interests of children and their families

Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration

Proven experience in children's social work

Strong assessment, planning, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage complex caseloads effectively

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Adherence to the Social Care Capability Framework (SCCF)
