Description:
London – Children Social Worker – £30 to £32
• Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring high-quality statutory social work practice.
• Undertake Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children work.
• Complete safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments to protect children from harm.
• Develop, implement and review outcome-focused care plans.
• Build effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
• Prepare reports for child protection conferences, reviews and court proceedings.
• Attend statutory meetings and represent the local authority where required.
• Complete statutory visits, reviews and assessments within required timescales.
• Work collaboratively with education, health, police and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Promote permanence planning and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Essential Requirements:
• Degree/master’s in social work and SWE registration.
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK social care legislation and practice.
