Milk Education are recruiting for a Qualified SEND Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Sefton to work on a long-term basis starting in September! This is a school, who prides itself on being happy and caring, with high standards of attainment and behaviour. This school is taking multiple Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 with a KS1 child, supporting them with the transition in to school.

Qualified Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

* Preparing the classroom as directed for lessons and clearing afterwards
* Assisting with the display of pupils work
* Being aware of pupil problems/progress/achievements and reporting these to the teacher as agreed
* Occasional contribution to planning e.g. for individual pupils, general literacy/numeracy
* Working with the teacher in managing pupil behaviour and reporting difficulties as appropriate

Qualified Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

● Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people

● Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher

● Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
