The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Primary Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a mixed-ability class, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and contributing to the broader life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all pupils.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
* Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
* Experience teaching in a similar role or covering maternity leave.
* Specialism or interest in a particular subject area.
* Proficiency in using educational technology.
