About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a qualified PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Rotherham starting in September. This role offers the chance to foster athleticism and sportsmanship in students across all year groups.
Job Summary:
Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback to enhance their athletic performance.
Develop a positive learning environment that promotes health and fitness.
Job Responsibilities:
Utilize innovative teaching methods to motivate students in sports and physical education.
Organize sports events and competitions in collaboration with other staff.
Engage with the wider school community through sports programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
Strong motivational and team-building skills.
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
