Are you a qualified Maths Teacher with a passion for helping students develop their confidence and mathematical ability?
Can you plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that challenge students and support individual learning needs?
Do you have strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in Stoke-on-Trent that is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher. The school is committed to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and problem-solving skills.
The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful Maths Teacher will plan, prepare and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lessons, assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, maintain excellent classroom management and work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
QTS with a Maths specialism
Experience teaching Maths within a UK school
Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong planning, assessment and organisational skills
A positive and adaptable approach with excellent communication skills
