Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of our St Albans based accountancy client.
This role will ideally suit a part qualified accountant or an individual with at least 2-3 years experience working within a busy accounts department and looking to develop their accounts skills further, within a professional accountancy practice.
Essential Requirements:
Educated to A Level standard
AAT Qualificiation (desirable)
Must have a minimum of 2-3 years accounts experience in a similar role
Bookkeeping experience is essential
IT skills: Xero accounting is ideal
Strong Excel
Duties will include the following:
Supporting the month end process including tbe preparation and posting of month end journals to Xero
The opportunity to become involved in the preparation of the management accounts
Supporting the credit control team
Support internal payroll processes
Dealing with accounts queries etc.
Monday to Friday 37.5 hour week with flexi hours
Salary: Up to £36,000 pa depending on experience + Benefits Pension, Life Assurance
