Salary: Starting from £53,000 (DOE)
About the Role: Major Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in Civil Engineering for one of our esteemed Groundworks clients. This role is perfect for a professional with over 5 years of experience in the field who is looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting cost analysis and control on all projects
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
Managing project budgets and advising on procurement strategy
Performing risk, value management, and cost control
Overseeing all stages of construction to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and budget
Collaborating with project managers and site managers to meet project objectivesRequirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying
Relevant professional certifications and qualifications in Quantity Surveying
Strong understanding of construction processes, procurement strategies, and risk management
Excellent negotiation, financial, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
