ROLE: Lead Facilities Maintenance Enigineer
HOURS: 40 - 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
SALARY: upto £48,000 dependent on skills and experience, plus benefits

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer to lead and support with the planning and execution of small-scale maintenance projects, inspections and testing across all operational sites, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) as well as responding to reactive maintenance requests on an ad hoc basis, either directly or through approved subcontractors.

WHAT OUR FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS DO:

Manage the sign off and distribution of all electrical certifications
Support the FM maintenance department managing the day to day workload
Attend sites to survey/monitor and evaluate work as appropriate
Provide technical support on electrical issues as and when required
Manage sub contracts and maintenance projects

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS:

Experience of project management within a facilities context
Good judgement in the prioritisation of projects
Resource management, including people management and financial management
Experience of a commercial environment and how a budget/P&L works
Confident in reporting and presentation skills
A self-starter who is self-sufficient and able to work without close supervision
Experience of electrical testing, fixed wiring testing and mechanical engineering skills
18th edition certificate, BS7671 IT wiring regulation certificate and/or up to date electrical inspection, testing and installation equivalent qualifications
