What you'll be doing

You'll lead the company's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental function, ensuring compliance while continually improving processes across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing and continually improving the Quality Management System (ISO 9001)

* Leading Health & Safety across the site, ensuring full legislative compliance

* Developing and maintaining the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)

* Conducting internal audits and supporting external accreditation audits

* Investigating incidents, non-conformances and implementing corrective actions

* Developing risk assessments, safe systems of work and H&S procedures

* Coaching and engaging employees to create a positive safety culture

* Working closely with operational teams to improve manufacturing processes and standards

* Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

You'll already have experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment and enjoy improving systems, engaging people and making a genuine difference.

Ideally, you'll have:

* Previous experience in a QHSE, HSE or Quality Management role

* Experience within manufacturing, engineering or another process-driven environment

* Knowledge of ISO 9001 (essential)

* Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent)

* Experience of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be advantageous

* Excellent communication and influencing skills

* A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail

* A passion for continuous improvement
