RoleQC Technician (Food/Nutrition/Pharma)
Salary - £26,000+ DOE
Job Type - Monday - Friday (8-4pm) Full Time permanent position
Location - Cumbria

Russell Taylor Group have an exciting opportunity to join our clients' specialised nutrition manufacturing company as a Quality Control Technician. Our client has gone through major expansion over the last two years and have plans for further expansion over the next three years.
This is a great opportunity to join a small, but friendly team with plenty of opportunities to progress internally within the team and company. As part of this role, you will work within the Quality Team to grade internally produced products and raw materials.

Responsibilities
• Recording and advising on Chemistry and Microbiological testing results.
• Carry out primary production grading.
• Carry out raw material grading.
• Take part in vendor quality notifications and follow through.
• Track bypass rates.
• Write and track quality concessions.
• Conduct environmental clean sign offs.
• Respond to customer complaints.
• Evaluate trending results over time and reporting to the QA Manager.

Requirements
• Previous experience in a QC or laboratory technician type role.
• Experience within the Food (dairy would be preferred but not essential), nutrition, pharmaceutical, microbiology or cosmetic industry.
• Strong computer skills
• A scientific background would be preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Willingness to learn.
• Happy to work on site 5 days a week.
