Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous QA Technician to join our team in West Sussex. This role is vital for ensuring the quality and integrity of incoming materials and products through thorough inspections, reporting, and effective use of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of quality, environmental stewardship, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Uphold the company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and ISO 45001 Health and Safety management systems.

Perform routine incoming material inspections, dispositioning, and transactions on the ERP system.

Conduct first article inspections and compile FAI reports.

Process and submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), collaborating internally and with the supply chain to resolve issues.

Execute internal audits, manage findings and responses, and support supplier audits and follow-ups.

Maintain and update Quality department reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Analyze data to identify potential quality issues and support initiatives to improve product performance and processes.

Initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Engineering Request Notes (ERN) based on analytical findings.

Conduct internal audits against ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 Management Systems, ensuring audit actions are followed up.

Participate in Materials Review Boards and process MRB findings.

Support company Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards.

Education/Experience Required:

A background in Quality with familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems and environmental regulations.

Knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components preferred.

Confident, motivated, and well-organized individual with a keen eye for detail.

Proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database usage.

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with all company levels.

A proactive, "hands-on" approach to tasks.
