Do you want a long-term career with a successful food business which offers growth and progression? Are you an experienced and ambitious Quality Assurance professional, looking for a new challenge?
We’re looking for a motivated Senior QA who are proven experience, to support the expansion of rapidly growing manufacturing facility, as well as our wider business in Shropshire Area. Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, this is a varied role, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all systems and procedures are followed to meet quality standards, legal requirements and customer expectations.
Main responsibilities:
• Work closely with production on quality/safety issues to ensure all relevant information is recorded, communicated and investigated
• Ensure adherence to HACCP and food safety procedures
• Goods in checks/raw material inspections
• Internal audits
• Sampling & testing
• Monitoring of CCPs
• Finished product quality monitoring
• Hygiene, housekeeping, traceability, allergen management
• Investigations on quality issues, complaint monitoring & trending
• Monitoring QAS documentation & trackers
• Develop & implement quality control procedures
• Support during audits/customer visits
• Improve and drive the sites’ quality performance

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
• Degree in Food Technology or related discipline (Preffered not essential)
• HACCP Level 2
• Level 2 Food Safety
• Proven experience in food or drinks quality assurance, in a manufacturing or production environment, min 5 years
• Internal audit experience
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Computer literate (Excel & Word)
