Quality Manager
Food Manufacturing | South East England
We're working with a well-known chilled food manufacturer to recruit a Quality Manager into a key site leadership position.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an established Quality Manager or a strong QA Supervisor/QA Team Leader ready to step into management and take ownership of site quality, food safety and audit compliance.
The Role
- Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring high standards across the site.
- Own and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead BRC and customer audits, maintaining audit readiness at all times.
- Drive continuous improvement through investigations, trend analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage customer complaints, non-conformances and quality incidents.
- Work closely with Production, Technical and Operations teams to maintain food safety and quality standards.
About You
- Experience in a Quality or Technical role within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of BRC, retailer standards and HACCP.
- Experience leading audits and managing quality systems.
- Previous team leadership experience.
- Chilled food or RTE experience would be advantageous.
- A hands-on, proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
Salary: Up to £46,000
