Lynx Recruitment is currently working with a Consulting organisation, looking to recruit an experienced QA Automation Engineer.

Fully remote, London office

£50,000 - £60,000

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop new API tests in Java using REST Assured and Cucumber BDD

* Assess new API features for automation inclusion

* Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines

* Maintain and expand API Postman collections

* Fix bugs, review code, and merge PRs for Java-based automation projects using Selenium, Appium, OpenCV, REST Assured, and Cucumber

* Ensure automation suite reliability across diverse environments and countries

* Manually validate failures and update scripts as needed

* Log detailed defects and issues on Jira

* Stay informed about business activities to anticipate test impact

* Collaborate within an agile team for backlog refinement, sprint planning, story development, testing, demos, and retrospectives

* Foster trustful relationships with stakeholders like product owners, developers, analysts, and operations.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Must be degree educated within an IT or Business-related field

* Over 5 years of experience in Java development/support or Automation frameworks

* 4+ years in Automation testing using Java (Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, or API Automated testing)

* 2+ years in E-commerce projects, understanding order workflows, product catalogues, and payments

* Strong communication skills for team alignment and client interaction

* Proficient in Agile methodologies, meeting deadlines consistently

* Solid grasp of enterprise infrastructure and application components

* Familiarity with source code repositories like Git, Bitbucket, etc
