Pricing Data Scientist / Pricing Python Modeller- InsureTech Scale-up
3-month contract opportunity
Outside IR35
Flexible on remote working/hybrid
What you’ll be doing
Working with the Head of Pricing in this data science & ML driven pricing team, you'll be supporting the team and developing models across a range of areas including burn cost, frequency and severity models across AD/TPPD/TPBI/Theft/Fire/other/all costs, following structure of candidate burn cost models on whole portfolio. You'll also be assisting in summarising performance & selecting correct approaches accross perils, advise/implement on feature engineering, hyperparameter tuninng, null imputation startegy, ensemble approaches and control mechanisms.
What experience you’ll need to apply
Several years’ experience as an Actuary or Pricing Data Scientist
Strong Python experience
Experience on a range of pricing & ML models
Experience working in the retail insurance space, ideally in automotive
Strong communication skills
What you’ll get in return for your experience
A day rate of between £600 - £700 per day, outside IR35. This would be an initial 3-month contract position with potential to extend.
