AMS is supporting a leading global consulting firm in hiring an experienced Python Developer for an initial 12-month contract. (Offices in London/Birmingham/Bristol)
You'll be responsible for designing and developing Python-based solutions while working closely with client teams across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python applications using clean, scalable, and reusable code.
Build RESTful APIs with FastAPI, including API endpoints, request/response validation, authentication, and error handling.
Design and optimize SQL queries for retrieving, updating, and managing data efficiently.
Integrate APIs with databases using Python database libraries or ORMs such as SQLAlchemy.
Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications, identifying and resolving performance, functionality, and production issues.
Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements, implement features, review code, and maintain technical documentation.Requirements:
Strong Python development experience.
FAST API Experience
SQL Experience
JavaScript Experience (Desirable)
Comfortable working in a consulting environment.We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
