Description:
PRS Recruitment Solutions Ltd requires a full-time Purchasing Manager to work at our client's very busy operation based in Chessington, which specialise in the distribution of commercial flooring and stair accessory products to customers across London & the South East.
The Role:
* Coordinate and collate stock and ‘special’ orders to our supplier partners.
* Complete the required paperwork when ordering stock.
* Check stock levels regularly.
* Update stock information on the computer system.
* Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
* Comparing items received against items ordered.
* Compiling reports and addressing inventory discrepancies.
* Maintaining records of pricing, purchases, and other relevant information.
* Interrogate analytical sales data to ensure best practice on stock purchase.
* Form relationships with trading suppliers to ensure best price achieved.
* Respond to and deal with suppliers, colleagues and customer communication by email and telephone.
* Plan future capacity requirements.
* Working hours 08.00 – 5.00 pm Monday – Friday
The Package:
* £35,000 - Per Annum
* 31 Days Holiday including bank holidays and the Christmas shutdown

Requirements:
* Previous Purchasing Management Experience
* Possess excellent communication Skills
* Be numerate and literate
* Have excellent PC Skills
* Be able to work either on your own or as part of a team
