What will do as a Purchasing Coordinator
* Coordinate and manage purchase orders to ensure materials, components
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and maintain competitive purchasing costs
* Monitor stock levels and material availability to support production schedules
* Track supplier deliveries, resolve late shipments, and address any purchasing or supply chain issues promptly
* Maintain accurate purchasing records, update the ERP system, and ensure all purchase orders are raised correctly
* Raise invoices and check supplier pricing
What will you need to be a Purchasing Coordinator
* 1 to 2 years experience in Purchasing, Buying or supply chain
* Happy to be based onsite
* Manufacturing industry experience is essential
* Experience using ERP or MRP systems
* Worked in a fast paced role
* Must be proficient in Excel
